Vic Thomas Park (Roanoke): Located behind Black Dog Salvage, this area has unique structures, metal covered bridges, and tall grass fields.

Explore Park (Roanoke/Botetourt): River access, trails, and mountain scenery. 

Carvin's Cove (Hollins): Trails, woods, and an evergreen tree lined path that leads to a water overlook with a sandy beach and stunning mountain views.

Cherry Blossom Trail (Daleville): Gorgeous spot offering tall trees, wooden bridges, large rocks, and a stunning water feature.

Arboretum at VWCC: Beautiful cultivated gardens with a variety of backgrounds.
