I started loving photography when I was a pre-teen, and really, the obsession never wavered. My favorite Christmas present was my very first DSLR camera! I go back to the days of the darkroom to develop film, folks! The time of stop bath and eagerly waiting to see your image develop. Anyone else remember that?! In school, I took every photography class offered, and loved learning about the photography world. My first job was as a camera sales associate at Ritz Camera, and taking pictures was always my favorite passtime.
Although after college I went on to teach high school Spanish for 8 years, photography still remained my main interest. So, in March of 2010, I decided to move forward with photography full time. It’s been a joy – from bridals and weddings, to babies and children, I have enjoyed so much from this adventure.
In July of 2011, we welcomed our first baby girl, Emma, and since then my focus and interest naturally shifted to maternity, newborns and baby’s 1st year milestones. I knew right away that these portraits were my love. I just can't get enough newborn squishiness! In 2014, I was SO excited to mentor with the talented Kristen Mackey of Son Kissed Photography. Ever so grateful to absorb as much as possible, I learned the safest way to pose and work with newborns to result in both a comfortable experience for them, and amazingly beautiful images for their families. Training in both safety and newborn posing, combined with 14 years of experience, results in beautifully curated galleries for families, each and every time.
Nothing beats sharing in the excitement as a couple celebrates their pregnancy, seeing the love in their eyes as I mold and pose their new baby in precious ways, and the tears of happiness when parents first see these captures created for them to cherish forever. Those adorably chubby cheeks, wiggling toes, soft tufts of hair, and yummy baby rolls are over-the-top precious! Photography has always been my passion, and I am very thankful to be able to work with growing families!

Take a Peek in the Studio
Welcome to the studio—a space thoughtfully designed to provide both comfort and elegance for your newborn’s session. Every detail has been prepared with care, from an extensive collection of hand-selected props, delicate wraps, bonnets, and timeless outfits to layers and blankets that create a truly customized experience for your little one.
While I gently work with your baby, you are invited to unwind on the reclining sofa with a selection of coffee, tea, water, and light refreshments. For siblings, there are books, puzzles, toys, and movies to enjoy, ensuring the entire family feels at ease. The studio is also fully equipped with every convenience, including a bottle warmer, wipes, wipe warmer, and a changing table—so that you can simply relax and savor this special moment.
